HAZARD TYPE: Indications suggest that this storm may be capable of producing a tornado at any time. This storm may also produce 100-125km/h wind gusts.

IMPACT: Flying debris is dangerous to those caught without shelter during a tornado. Mobile homes could be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, trees, hydro poles and vehicles can occur. Damaging wind gusts can cause property damage (Some tree damage, localized damage to hydro poles) or turn any loose item into a dangerous projectile, and create unsafe travelling conditions that affect your ability to safely steer your car.

PRECAUTIONARY ACTION: In the event of a tornado touchdown, take shelter immediately and get as close to the ground as possible, protect your head and watch for flying debris. Do not chase tornadoes - they are unpredictable and can change course abruptly. You should move to a safe place when there is damaging wind gusts.
