Irma has now strengthened into an extremely dangerous Cat 5 Hurricane with wind gusts reaching 297.7km/h.

As of now, we still have to wait and see if this storm could make an impact in eastern Canada but models continue to show it to be a possibility.

Folks directly in the path in the Leeward Islands, Bahamas, Cuba, etc. need to take action now and those in southern Florida need to prepare for the worst.
