Hurricane Irma Has Caused a Part of the Ocean to Disappear in the Bahamas

Quite an impressive phenomenon was caught on video in Long Island, Bahamas. An area thats normally part of the ocean is now completely dry with no water in sight.

This has been known to happen when very strong hurricanes are moving through nearby and it literally sucks water from the shoreline. The effects could also be enhanced by the wind direction pushing the water out to sea along with the usual tides. The water will return to normal levels soon.
