...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM EDT FOR CARROLL AND SOUTHEASTERN GRAYSON COUNTIES AND THE CITY OF GALAX... At 552 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain moving out of the region. However runoff will likely cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area especially around Hillsville. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Galax... Hillsville... Fancy Gap... Dugspur... and Baywood.
