At 337 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles north of Marshall, moving southeast at 25 mph. Locations to be impacted include... Marshall, Mars Hill, B.R. Parkway-East Asheville To Craggy Gardens, Weaverville, Faust, Walnut, Barnardsville, Swiss and Wolf Ridge. Wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible in these areas.
