Rain, at times heavy, is expected.
Heavy rain will taper off towards noon. Rainfall amounts of 50 to 85 mm have been reported across parts of eastern ontario including ottawa this morning.
Total rainfall amounts will reach 100 mm in a few localities by noon today.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
