...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT TODAY... The Flash Flood Watch continues for

• Portions of southeast North Carolina and northeast South Carolina, including the following areas, in southeast North Carolina, Coastal Brunswick, Coastal New Hanover, Coastal Pender, Inland Brunswick, Inland New Hanover, and Inland Pender. In northeast South Carolina, Coastal Horry.
• Until noon EDT today
• Scattered to Numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue to move on shore from the adjacent Atlantic Waters through this morning. Much of the region has seen well above normal rainfall during the past several weeks leaving high water tables and saturated grounds in places. Any prolonged heavy rainfall could produce localized areas of flash flooding.
