...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL NYE COUNTY UNTIL 515 PM PDT... At 429 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18 miles east of Manhattan, moving northeast at 15 mph. Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph will be possible with this storm. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Nye County.
