Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued

At 7:00 p.m. Mdt, environment canada meteorologists are tracking a line of dangerous thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

This line is located from near crowsfoot to lomond, and is heading to the east at 40 km/h.

Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Very strong wind gusts can damage buildings, down trees and blow large vehicles off the road. Lightning kills and injures canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
