Funnel Cloud Potential Today

We’re keeping an eye on these seemingly non-severe storms in southwestern Ontario, as well through the Niagara and GTA regions as the current environment has some potential for the development of brief funnel clouds. In rare cases, the type of funnel clouds possible today could produce landspout tornadoes.

Landspout tornadoes are typically weaker than supercell based tornadoes but they could still be dangerous as they can cause flying debris and damaging wind gusts.
