Prolonged snowfall with totals near 15 cm by Tuesday afternoon.

What: Snowfall amounts up to 5 cm today, 5 cm tonight and another 5 to 10 cm on Tuesday.

When: Now through Tuesday afternoon.

Hazard: Potentially difficult travel. Be prepared for winter driving conditions.

Remarks: Paulson Summit has received several centimetres of snow already and snow will spread to Kootenay pass by this afternoon. Snow will end late Tuesday afternoon. Snow levels will hover near 1300 metres through the event.

Weather in the Mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
