Low Risk For Funnel Cloud Development

We’re keeping an eye on these seemingly non-severe storms as they track to the northeast through an isolated region of Southwestern Ontario. Mainly through the #Hanover area, up towards #Owen Sound. The current environment has some potential for the development of brief funnel clouds and in rare cases, a landspout tornado.

Landspout tornadoes are typically weaker than supercell based tornadoes, but they could still be dangerous as they can cause flying debris and damaging wind gusts.
