Widespread pop-up thunderstorms are expected across a wide swath of Southern Alberta on Wednesday. These storms should remain sub-severe, but there is a slight chance for funnel clouds between Calgary and Edmonton. In rare cases, funnel clouds can touch down and become a landspout tornado.
