Due to the current pandemic, some school boards have changed their policies on school bus cancellations. Some will continue the school day in a virtual format if buses are cancelled. Check with your local board for more details.

English Public and Catholic Schools
Avon MaitIand Public & Huron-Perth CathoIic - There are some cancellations and closures. See this page for more details: https://geoquery.hpsts.ca/Alerts
Durham Public & Durham Catholic - DSTS has cancelled all transportation for today due to inclement weather. All Elementary schools will be CLOSED. Secondary schools will be transitioning to online learning for the day.
Grand Erie Public & Brant HaIdimand Norfolk Catholic - Due to currently road conditions, transportation services are cancelled in all zones today. As a result of transportation being cancelled, schools are closed to students.
HaIton Public & Halton Catholic - All Halton District (HDSB) and Halton Catholic District (HCDSB) schools and workplaces are closed and all transportation services are cancelled in Zones 1, 2 and 3.
HamiIton Wentworth Public & HamiIton Wentworth Catholic - All remote, eLearning, child care, and in-person learning is cancelled today, Jan 17 due to inclement weather and as a result of cancelled transportation. Buses are not running. All admin buildings are closed. Catholic ONLY: The elementary virtual school remains open.
Kawartha Pine Ridge Public & Peterborough Victoria Northumberland Clarington Catholic - ALL KPR Schools CLOSED. Important update: ALL KPR schools are CLOSED today to students due to weather and travel conditions.
Niagara Public & Niagara Catholic - Due to inclement weather, schools are closed, and transportation is cancelled, for the District School Board of Niagara and the Niagara Catholic District School Board.
Ottawa CarIeton Public & Ottawa Catholic - Due to the expected snowstorm, schools are closed Monday January 17, 2022 and moving to online learning. All transportation services are cancelled. DO NOT bring your children to school. Stay safe.
PeeI Public & Dufferin-PeeI Catholic - Due to inclement weather conditions, all PDSB schools and buildings are closed today. All buses are cancelled. Closure of all schools means cancellation of all activities in schools, including childcare, night school and permits. NO CLASSES WILL BE HELD IN PERSON OR ONLINE. All DPCDSB schools and facilities are closed to staff and students today due to inclement weather. Schools will switch to remote learning for the day.
Renfrew County Public & Renfrew County Catholic - all transportation services are CANCELLED, for Monday January 17, 2022 due to Winter Storm Warning. All schools are OPEN.
Simcoe County Public & Simcoe Catholic - All vehicles in Simcoe County are cancelled today. Due to current road conditions and the forecast for poor weather to continue throughout the day, all SCDSB schools will be closed (Jan. 17). Students will move to remote learning where possible.
Thames Valley Public & London CathoIic - All school vehicles are CANCELLED for the day in ELGIN COUNTY, OXFORD COUNTY, and RED ZONE.
Toronto Public & Toronto Catholic - Given the significant snowfall, we have made the decision to cancel school busses and close all TDSB schools to in-person learning for today. All schools will be moving to remote learning.
Tri-Board - All school transportation is cancelled today. Schools are also closed.
Trillium LakeIands - Due to inclement weather, all buses to schools in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton, and Muskoka for TLDSB have been cancelled for Monday, January 17. Schools are closed to students and remote learning will be offered to all students within the region.
Upper Canada Public & Eastern Ontario CathoIic - Due to the Winter Storm Warning, all school transportation will be cancelled and schools will now be CLOSED Jan. 17.
Upper Grand Public, Dufferin-PeeI Catholic & Wellington CathoIic - All School taxis and buses cancelled in Zone 1 (Guelph), Zone 2 (Centre Wellington), Zone 3 (North Wellington), and Zone 4 (Including RF Hall) today. All schools are also closed.
WaterIoo Public & WaterIoo Catholic - Due to the current weather conditions ALL SCHOOL BUSES, TAXIS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION ROUTES operated by the Waterloo Catholic District School Board and Waterloo Region District School Board are cancelled. All WCDSB and WRDSB schools and sites are CLOSED and it will be a Remote Learning Day.
York Public & York Catholic - Due to inclement weather conditions, all schools are closed to students today, January 17, 2022. School transportation will not be operating. Parents: do not send your child to school today.

Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO) - Due to the winter storm alert, all of our schools and daycare services will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022. Learning will take place in asynchronous mode.
Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud - All schools and daycare services are closed today following the significant snow accumulations. Students will be in synchronous learning today.
Conseil scolaire de district catholique de l'Est Ontarien - School transportation CANCELED (all regions). CSDCEO and CEPEO schools will be closed.
Conseil des écoles catholiques de langue française du Centre-Est - Due to the bad weather conditions announced and in order to ensure the safety of students, families and staff members, the administration has taken the decision to close all schools and maintain the distance learning for Monday, January 17.

Region of Oxford: Transportation is cancelled today. CSC Providence schools are open.
Region of Durham: Transportation is cancelled today. Schools are closed to students.
Region of Toronto: Transportation is cancelled today. Schools are closed to students.
Region of Middlesex (Elgin County - Aylmer, St.Thomas and West Lorne zones): Transportation is cancelled today.
Region of Kitchener-Waterloo: Transportation is cancelled today. Schools are closed to students.
Region of Simcoe: Transportation is cancelled today. Schools are closed to students.
